Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Went to Chincoteague, Va this week with Manassas Warrenton Camera Club friend Mike Crosby. Weather was great and the sunrise was beautiful. This time we were there in mid-summer, we usually go in the fall, for peak waterfowl migration. But the birds were plentiful this morning and we both got some great shots. This guy was pretty happy with his breakfast, but the competition was stiff to say the least.

Monday, February 12, 2018. Recently I was searching my Lightroom Catalog for some images from Palouse. While the image featured in this blog was not the one I was looking for, it is the one that I decided to work on. When Im in the field sometimes I will take an image that I know exactly how I want to process, but not always. Sometimes its just about the composition. That was the case with this image. Im not a big fan of applying a Vignette to my images. The reason is most of the work I see online.CONTENT
