I have been to Bangkok, Thailand several times before, but is is always a very enjoyable place. I have a friend from graduate school, Leslie Wilson, who is living in Bangkok and working for Church World Service, so I just had to go visit it again. My friend, Sue went with me as she had never been there before. Flying that far is never very enjoyable, but we did make it and Leslie met us at the airport at 1 AM their time.
