It was lovely to see the public interact with public art at Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai. Everywhere I could see shoppers stopping to watch and read about the artist and his art with great interest. Dolna your public art movement is path breaking. I have watched Dolna evolve from a startup to what it is now. a great platform to appreciate and purchase a variety of art at reasonable prices; all this put together by a very good artist and connoisseur, Mithu Basu, and her able team.

The institution has never been allowed to grow to an unmanageable size at the cost of the quality of service that is offered. Presently, there are a total number of around 700 children only and a large number of them from the age-group of 3 months to 18 years remain at the creche and day-boarding for the better part of the day while the parents are at work.
