Monday, February 6, 2012. By 2AM, we awoke to the sounds of a very loud diesel engine and the smell of fumes. Maybe the noisy, smelly truck would soon move away? After a few more hours of less-than-restful sleep, we awoke to an empty rest area. All of the trucks had long gone. With nearly 600 miles left to go - it was time to hit the road. Soxy had spent the last 1100 miles hiding under the RV sofa. She was ecstatic to be done with the ride - and help me finish this blog.
