Welcome to the DSS Tribute Page. The DSS was started in the early nineties in the Bournemouth, Dorset area in the South of England. Originally, the co-founders of the DSS had provided the equipment and helped other Sound Systems organize their parties. Eventually they decided to host the parties by themselves. Some of the first parties were held in squats, student digs and other rented accommodation! With the demand for bigger venues the DSS ventured out to the local rural areas.
