Sunday, July 21, 2013. I thought it turned out pretty cute. In the morning Daddy got to sleep in while we made breakfast and got his presents out. Earlier in the week, the kiddos painted this crown for daddy, so he could be king for a day. Daddy read the book the kids gave him. And the picture he received for his office. Friday, September 10, 2010. but it was the first day of school. They are cute and are so excited to be back in School. Where did the year go? It is the end of another school year. So I guess some goo.

Monday, August 22, 2011. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Something in me just clicked and took over. I walked over to Rob and just held him as he cried and cried. Eleven weeks later I was in a funeral home with Adrienne and my dad. We were picking out a casket for Rob. I sat down on the bench and just started to cry and cry and cry.

Sunday, October 28, 2012. A nice, light snowstorm. We woke up to a whiteout. It snowed 8 inches overnight. School was cancelled, the sun came out, and the boys did some serious sledding down the mountain next to our house. All geared up, ready to play in an inch of snow. Come sled with us when it snows again! Staying ther.

We got on the plane, and the pilot and co pilot were both standing there and offered the kiddos a chance of a lifetime. They got to not only sit in the cockpit, they got to push buttons, and put their hands on the different gauges and instruments.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. I shirked all my responsibilities and played with my mom who came to visit. Monday we had massages and Tuesday we went out to Golden, CO. Apparently my great great great grandmother died there, but was buried in Trinidad. We have no idea why she was in Golden, but it was a fun place to visit, and then we met up with some probable distant Highfill relatives.
