She took the leap and built her wings. Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She Has Fire in her Soul and Grace in her Heart. Almost to date, just a few days later. Having a working laptop sure does help being connected again with a full keyboard at my fingertips in the comforts of my own bed. My last post marked my six month journey of living here and now its been 1288 days since I moved to Sitka. Does that sum it up pretty well? Life has a funny.
These are from one of my favorites from Southern Living made with Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits. They are a real treat and super easy. Give yourself 10 minutes and you can be sipping your coffee, eating your beignets and feeling as if are in the center of it all in NOLA.
Monday, September 5, 2011. 1st solo vacation since our honeymoon. We got coffee at the very 1st Starbucks. On Monday night we went up in the Space Needle. Great views of the city and the water. It was gorgeous atypical Seattle weather the whole time we were there. Sunny in the 70s early 80s and slight breeze. It was about a 4 hour hike and the views were breath taking! Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Knox turned 15 months last Thursday. He is getting so big! He thinks he is bigger than he is. He climbs on everything! We have to watch him closely. I call him the garbage disposal, but a few new faves are danimals yogurt smoothies, string cheese, turkey sausage, donuts, strawberries, kids cliff bars. Really likes playing with Karson. They are so cute together.

Pax, Parker, Dane, and Dallas really enjoyed watching the roping and bull riding. The highlight for all of us would have to be the cowboy riding on TOP of the horse trailer while it was being driven around the arena. It was a very fun weekend! Friday, May 30, 2014.
