He will be going to Afghanistan again as a nurse on a medical team. His unit will be leaving in January and they expect to be gone less than a year. We will both be updating this blog frequently.

Monday, August 12, 2013. So where have I been for the past 2 years? But, Utah has so much to love too. And all of the things here that I love to do. Tonight is finally the night that updating the blog climbs to the top of the practically insurmountable to-do list.

We did relay races, ate breakfast, played volleyball, and sang, This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land. Lucy had her friend Liam some too. I did the water balloon toss with Dad, and we only lost because Dad fumbled and dropped the balloon! There was also a chicken named Mary Jane that Lucia Bacon brought.

Porter played T-Ball this summer and Luke played baseball. Caden decided he wanted to play soccer, but not baseball. After the season started, he told me he wished he could play on a team like Luke.
