Sunday, 2 November 2014. Dalziel! The library is open and things are almost back to normal. Thank you to all the students who have returned their library books from last school year, however, there are still many missing. If anyone finds books under the couch or under their bed, please return them ASAP, those books have been away for far too long! We have a new face in the library, Ms. Allchin and I cannot do it all! I love Schol.

Tuesday, 18 August 2015. Shaftesbury Ferry August 1, 2015. Highway 740 takes you there and the ferry takes you across the Peace River. The first ferry crossing here was built by a farmer in 1951 and the family operated it until the government took it over in 1977. The road heading into the valley suffered a slide at one point. The detour is just to the side. This is not a cable ferry. The ferry is manoeuvred by a tugboat. The tug and barge were built in 1962.
