Musings of a student in Jerusalem. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Where it all began. I cant believe its almost been 6 months since Ive been back from Jerusalem. I havent blogged since then but I wanted to share how I got there. The Jerusalem Center resting on the Mount of Olives. The song describes the land, and the beautiful beginning of our Saviors ministry. I was 14 yrs old when I first heard that song. It was then what over 10 years ago that sparked the desire to go to Jerusalem. I felt incomple.CONTENT

For my final project I have been studying water reflections of nature. I will not be using these for my final project because they do not fit into the series but they were photographs taken while I was shooting for my final project and I liked how they came out. They are straight shots and the flowers and the self-portrait photographs took on an interesting effects and almost appear to be almost infrared.
Tuesday, April 1, 2014. This was written in June of 2012 when my dad was sick and dying. From the depths of depression to the highs of marijuana. Emotional pain, yet I know this is just a part of our journeys together. And no one wants to exist having to be a burden. So here I am sitting here pissed that I can do NOTHING! Am not ready to let him go. YET it could help him really. he is really pretty bad off though, that is what makes me worry. I have been trying to let go.

They are a way of documenting a person, place, or thing, or anything and making the viewer look at such thing in the way the photographer did. I think pictures are personal, looking at the world the way the photographer does. Looking at a photograph allows you to step out of your shoes and into anothers.
And I say that because Easter is only a week away. But there are no interstates to get there, two large mountain passes to cross and hundreds,. Of deer and antelope to get past safely.
