We blikken nog even terug. We laten de vakantie nog even de revue passeren. Wat was top, wat was flop en wat zouden we anders doen of juist niet. De vluchten gingen gemiddeld genomen prima op tijd. De films waren flop, getoond op een klein, dan wel een eigen, schempje. De been ruimte is net aan maar voor ons, gemiddelde lengtes en breedtes, genoeg. Grand Canyon hebben we gezien, vonden dit van alle bezochte.
We halen de express checkout envelop van de deur, en dan dringt het tot ons door. Het is de laatste dag. De dame aan de balie doet haar uiterste best om alsnog iets te vinden en maakt wederom een aantekening dat er contact wordt opgenomen vanuit duitsland.
Aan al het goede komt een einde. We zetten tom op de route van het vliegveld en rijden, nog 1 keer achterom kijkend, de straat uit. Maar dan gaan we toch volgende keer voor de chocalade chipt. We komen ruim optijd aan op het vliegveld. We leveren de auto in en wachten op het bonnetje 0,0.

Dinsdag 28 september 2010. Vandaag viel de gevreesde envelop van Alamo op de deurmat. Eigenlijk had ik er niet veel meer aangedacht sinds we terug waren. Maar toen die vandaag dan toch op de deurmat lag, ondanks geruststellingen van mede forummers van het Orlandotip forum, ging mijn hartje toch wel sneller kloppen.
