Sunday, October 14, 2012. So I figured it was about time that I put something new on my blog and acknowledged that I still have one. I would like to complain about a much hated transition in the life of a toddler. To nap or not to nap. My kids rarely nap after they are two and he will be two in January.

Sunday, May 2, 2010. We went to Dairy Queen and they gave her an ice cream cone. I was feeding Kamery some pudding and I walked into the kitchen for a minute and when I came back I found Kamery feeding herself. She was scooping it into her mouth as fast as she could. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. I free handed the quilting around the letters, balloons, and mini bunting. I threaded the pennants onto a thin yarn that I knotted on the ends and sewed the knots into the side seams. I pinned the pennants down to quilt around them but let them hang free when hung up. I do fold the wall hanging very carefully for storage to not crease the pennants. The finished quilt is 29 x 32 inches. Monday, June 29, 2015.

Saturday, April 20, 2013. I am not a Thrifter. Growing up, I never really went to thrift stores much. My mom would take my sister and I there while Dad took the boys to the gun stores. And then I married into a family of Thrifters. My mother in law Linda, and my sister in law Roxie, truly have a talent for it. So, I skip over the clothes, and check out the shoes.
