Yes, I am now 61 and extremely proud of it. I have just completed the 12 months of a lifetime travelling around Australia. So until my Aussie Adventure Part 2 starts I will indulge myself in my family, my jewellery business, my crafts and anything else that takes my fancy. You are most welcome to come along for the ride. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Lately I have been painting small paintings. Not my usual format at all but galleries want smaller paintings in hopes of selling for the holidays. Since I am most comfortable painting large to very large works I find this format most challenging.
Saturday, June 1, 2013. I recently signed on to do a volunteer gig for a local non-profit. To help them implement a fresh website. I believe in their mission of ending loneliness in institutions like nursing homes and one person, one friend at a time. Because I frequently visit a family member who resides in such a place I am constantly confronted by the loneliness of some of the other people there.
