Wednesday, March 16, 2011. The Best Birthday Gift Ever. Or why Alan Freer is a genius! For my bday this year Alan surprised me by flying one of my bestest best friends out for a visit. Cammie and I met years ago working at the U of U and have remained close even though many states now separate us. It was so great to see her! The weekend flew by way too fast and before I knew it, it was was Sunday and I had to drive her back to the airport. It was the best! .
Thursday, January 1, 2015. And just like that, it was all over. All the Christmas programs and the Christmas shopping, all the Christmas parties and Christmas decorating. It comes and goes so quickly. Did I take time to enjoy it? Or, did I spend all my time and energy running around like a crazy? Maybe some of both? Since the party is this weekend tomorrow is going to be our main preparation day. we are mainly ready, we have purchased everything and the cakes have been ordered. we simply need to go over everything one last time to make sure everything will be great and also hope and pray that the weather holds up. but just in case, we do have a backup plan as well.
