Monday, May 12, 2014. Has been a life long activity. Even when I was young I would write poetry and stories in my spare time. The writing broadened to include non-fiction during while at university and graduate school. This continued through various work situations. I still do professional writing for corporate clients. Writing is very different than Visual Art. It is mediated by the written language. As an activity it is integral to my creative process.
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Exploring the World of Light and Shadow. I like to walk and do photography. Photography for me is a about finding a slice of the light around us. I was lucky to find these flowers in this light. I use a digital camera and was able to process it in a way to enhance the shadows and bring out a linen like feel to the p.
