Hřmění bylo tak hřmotné, až se báli, že jim uši upadnou, a tma tmoucí byla kolem nich. Dvě svíčky na dortu aneb žabák v hrnci. Už jsem zde toto přirovnání jednou použil. Pokud dáte žábu do hrnce s horkou vodou, ihned vyskočí. Pokud ji ale dáte do vody studené a tu pak ohříváte, zůstane uvnitř a uvaří se zaživa. Nedávno ovšem ve škole kdosi informoval, že nějaký otrlec to údajně testoval a není to pravda. Žába prý vyskočí v obou případech.
Wednesday, September 9, 2009. As most of you know by now, we lost Grandpa Gary on July 31st. The cancer just could not be contained. We have asked anyone who has stories to tell about Gary please send them to Jo Ann and we will put them together with his life story. We feel it is something worth preserving.
