Friday, May 06, 2016. Popham Beach is lovely this time of year, if a little cold. Last Saturday, AB and I took a long hike over Morse Mountain and onto Sea Wall Beach, which is connected to Popham. It was about a 5-mile hike, all told, and my little muscles were tight after that. A Yellow-rumped Warbler, looking very dashing. A whole lot of Glossy Ibises looking glossy. I had never actually seen a Chickadee excavating a nest hole before. I looked up when I noticed bits of stuff raining down from on high.
