Wednesday, June 1, 2011. In chapters 1 - 8 Heskett sets out to explain, in brief, the history of design. Then goes on to explain the different applications to which design is utilized. In chapter 9 Heskett explains the context to which design is used. He breaks down the three contexts in this order. Design as an organization, design as a business practice and design as it is used in governmental bodies. Heskett next turns his attention to companies .

The last classes were spent doing presentations. I really loved seeing everyones products, the final renderings were amazing and really put into prospective my competition in this major. I also liked the grading scale that we were given because it helped me stay focused on the points of the presentation. The classes became work sessions and our group really dug deep to think of an invention tha.
