Yes, yes I realize that the cake looks more like an Easter cake or a Baby cake than a Fourth of July cake, but it was another of my experiments using a recipe I found on Pinterest. I wanted to change it up and make the layers of the cake red, white and blue instead of chocolate and vanilla like the recipe stated.
