Focusing on the present while dreaming about the future. West Virginia almost seems like an accident. We spent the first couple years in West Virginia as if we were journalists or cultural anthropologists. We walked through life in our little town making quippy mental notes and rushed observations then scurrying back to the safety of my apartment to plan our wedding and to study for school. We adapted into the simple rhythms of small town li.
The last two months have been some of the most unnerving, anxiety-filled months of my life. Since April 13, my husband and I have made a series of exciting and terrifying decisions, revolving around our choice to move to Texas. Why, you ask? .

Thursday, March 15, 2012. Farewell. for now. I have been completely behind on updating my blog the last several weeks, and I am SO sorry! However, I think you will understand when I explain what is going on in my world. You may or may not know, but baking and this blog is not. So, that being said, Ive obviously had a lot going on the last few weeks, and a lot more still to wrap up before I move in 3 weeks!
