This is mainly due to the fact that my Dad had taken ill early in August and sadly, unexpectedly, died on Tuesday 31st August 2010. As you can imagine this has been very hard for all of us in our family to come to terms with especially as, at the time of writing this, his funeral is yet to take place. Sunday, 8 August 2010. Not an allotment post today but a few pics from the garden.

Tuesday, 7 October 2014. A mini chicken salad bar. I wanted to make the chickens an area in their run for ages that has mesh over it and grows plants so they have ready access to greens if they are in their run. Problem is despite their run being quite large there isnt really room for one with the compost heap, the dust bath, the logs, the food and water oh and the chickens of course in there too!
