I think Persistence is a good characteristic for a tapestry weaver! Knowing it must be done quickly, I warped it at only 8epi, and wove it with doubled weft, except for the face area, where I used singles.

Recently I made three different linocuts of trees with sinuous branches and then printed them one on top of the other in different colours. I think I need to do some more with different colours and a different order as there are so many variations that can be made. It is a fun thing to do. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Friday, September 14, 2012. The first of the texture samples. Exploring supplementary warps, chaining, soumak, macrame square knots, wrapped threads and various other knots.
