Our team logs accidents and incidents, report news and monitors bus behavior and general use of the bus lane. This page will start to list the various accidents and issues that happen on Duffield Road. We have been highly critical of the bus lane scheme due to the dangers we see as residents everyday. The council say these dangers are percieved. We say they are very real indeed. In 5 years there have been only 20 accidents on Duffield Road. We have counted 4 in 9 weeks. Monday, 11 June 2007. Legal Case - Work In Progress. The information outlined below explains about how this scheme will be presented in the eventuality that legal action is required. We believe these points coupled with evidence about the planning process demonstrates malpractice. We hope that DCC see sense before it is too late and make the appropriate changes on the grounds of safety before someone is seriously hurt. Photos Taken on Review Day 5th. This morning I took a couple of quick snaps before work. It is clear that the situation has got worse. Traffic has returned to this route after giving it a wide birth for the initial 6 weeks and the dangers are still apparent.
