It seemed like a lot of background to cover but I thought I would try some Distress Oxide inks to do it. I chose 2 colours - Peeled Paint and Salty Ocean and went ahead with a blending tool. This is the first time I had used these inks and a spritz of water creates a lovely painterly effect on it.

He is believed to have camped near this site with his soldiers. Coronado State Monument was the first. Historic site in the state to be open to the public. It was dedicated on May 29, 1940.
The inside of the black beads looks like coal when broken down. Next I fitted the wood inside the stove. You can see inside and it looks really effective. I also added a purple outline to all the cupboards and shelves.
