Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Day 3 - 5, Radiance of the Seas. Different. In other words, its very beautiful. We arrive in Valparaiso, population 250,000 . Its a big, half circle bay with tall cliff-like walls surrounding. Well, not really cliffs, but super. Trams funiculars taking pedestrians up the hill. We are finally rewarded with passage onboard the great ship that will be our home for the next 2 weeks Radiance of the Seas. Off our balcony, we see this. We enjoy their company very much. This is the day we will walk with the penguins. We look out the window and see that we are slowly approaching the city of Punta Arenas, Chile. They are free to go wherever they want; ropes or not. The area was very beautiful.
