Saturday, July 12. I decided to teach a class in the Summer Academy that my district has each summer. Its more like a day camp than summer school. Kids come 4 days a week, up to 4 hours a morning. They can eat breakfast and lunch free. There are lots of opportunities to try new things, especially since the main objective is fun, not learning. Here are some snapshots of our coolest treasures.
