31. Flautist

I have played a 竹笛Chinese bamboo flute, since I was 10 years old. It is an excellent way for retired people to pass the time. I often played at the Hamilton Gardens, Waikato river bank or on the lakes as shown here. I created this blog because Jessie Liaw wanted to hear me play my flute. 25. Launching a trailer yacht

To launch a trailer yacht is quite easy and can be done by one man. Just follow the sequence shown here. For recovery, simply reverse the process. Monday, July 25, 2005. Erica, Eugene, Pearl, Derrick, me, Christine, Kevin. The family went to Yunlong, Hong Kong for Eugenes wedding. Was held at the restaurant in a Marlborough vineyard. This photo was taken near Ngaroto. We had some visitors from Auckland. A trip to see the rail tunnel at Waihi. Kevin, Pearl, Christine, Eugene and me. Kevin was going to study in New Zealand.

27. Boat trips outings

I have explored many North Island lakes in my trailer yacht, a Noelex 22. Is one day to sail Lake Wanaka and Milford Sound on the South Island. 33. Mt. Cook

The best scenery is found around here. The mountain views are really breathe taking. Monday, July 11, 2005. The Southern Alps, 6th December 1999. At the end of December 1999, I took my family for a tour of the South Island. We drove the Toyota Ceres from Christchurch to Hanmer Springs, Westport,. The mountain scenes were fabulous so were the wild flowers on the shores of Wanaka. Our first glimpse of snow capped mountains. Part of the Southern Alps. One for the family album.

333. The Lazy Fish

It is a backpacker hostel called the Lazy Fish at the Marlborough Sounds. Monday, July 11, 2005. This hammock is very popular. You have to queue for your turn. The Lazy Fish has a lazy dog. I prefer the barbecued tiger prawns from Maxim on Merbau Road, any time! There was absolutely nothing to do, but watch the ships go by.

341. Fruits in my garden

A few fruit trees in our back garden in Hamilton. Sunday, June 22, 2008. It is so strange to see such big fruits on a small tree. Wednesday, May 14, 2008. This is because there are two graftings on the one tree. Here you can see clearly that one branch already has leaves and the other branch was just starting to bloom.

39. Cars in my life

During my life time I have owned quite a few cars; but never a brand new one. Most of them were second hand cars over 10 years old. This Mitsubishi Challenger was 4 years old when I bought it.
