Saturday, 15 August 2015. This morning I went across to the Exminster Marshes again for another look at the juvenile White-Winged Black Tern. And to try and get another shot of it and the bird was still performing well flying up and down the Exeter Canal! There was also news today of a Bairds Sandpiper. Seen on Blackhole Marsh in Seaton so Andy Bond and myself went over to see if it was still there and we arrived to find a hide full of people looking at it! Friday, 14 August 2015. I will preface my response by letting you know that I have been through New Orleans many times and I have spent some time there and have several friends on the police force who live in New Orleans.
