The top piece is acrylic, the bottom piece is oil. Real paint teaches you so much. These pencil drawings are practice I do in my spare time. Portraits have never been the main focus in my work, but this commission came along and I was intrigued. It was a great experience. How the Camel Got His Hump. They financed the film and were gutsy enough to invest in the Leflers. Ken was an Executive Producer along with my father, Tom Lefler. My older brother, Adrian, produced along with Courtney Russell. I directed, co-edited, and storyboarded.
