In 1978 Dave Folts Transmissions started out doing vw and porsche transaxles for offroad and drag racing vehicles. As the racing industry changed so has our business. We still do vw and porsche transaxle but now we also build, race prep,and manufactor parts for various other types of transaxles. These include albins ,fortins, mendeola, and pbs transaxles. With all our equipment we can design a part,build a part and then use this part to hopefully make a much better transaxle.
