Darren has been in prison since he was 17 years old. FFUP came into his life about 4 years ago. He was in solitary confinement, needing and being denied hearing aides,getting into trouble and suffering inhumane treatment because of his confusion and mental illness and the system39;s intolerance and brutality. We will put some of his story here. He has recently lost a bid for freedom and looks for meaning and joy. Right now his refuge is his painting.
