My one year experiment with eliminating red meat and poultry. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. And not a scrap of meat. I made it the entire year without consuming any meat. How do I feel? Pretty good. I set out to see if I had the discipline to do so, I think I nailed that. I also learned a lot about vegetarian cooking, discovered new foods and new ways to cook them. I got stress warts on my hand that only went away after taking a full weeks vacation. My job used to cause me a tremendous amount of stress. It wasnt worth it so I quit. And so, I question myself. If its out of my control why do I let it affect me in this way? What does my worrying accomplish? Arent I just hurting myself? Why cant I fix this?CONTENT
