Thursday, December 9, 2010. There is a part of me that works much quicker than any other part. It knows before anything can be explained, and it understands when everything says no. It is with me and at times without me. But what is that last one thing which I will not give up? What is that one last thing I wont let go of? But who knows, maybe Ill come back maybe I wont. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. In reading the slave, I became interested to realize that Jacob was not the only one who could be called a slave. Wanda too is stuck in a village she hates, bound by social expectation and tradition and unable to escape and held hostage by the love she feels for Jacob. Only when they act upon their love do either Jacob or Wanda feel free. After Jacob and Wanda lay together. They develop a deep intimacy that goes beyond lust.
