When looking at Robert Klippels artwork I believed that a sculptural building was most appropriate. I looked to his crystaline forms found in nature as inspiration and contrasted them with machine type forms created using exposed steel beams and space frames. This project made me experience what it might be like to work in the real world. I took the initiative by seeking out my artist and meeting the artist in person, which is almost similar to meeting a client. I took in their ideas of what their work is about and produced a gallery that i felt truly expresses the ideas that were given to me.

Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Painter, photographer and filmmaker, George Gittoes is an eyewitness to the worlds contact zones. Visiting the battle and killing fields of Rwanda, Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan- Gittoes produces poignant, rare images of the aftermath of terror, shock and death on the edge of human experience. My reflection on this project is that my first design solution is not always the final one. I will need to develop more solutions and make it better.
