Tuesday, January 15, 2008. I have a co-worker and dear friend, Nancy, who was hit by a car prior to Christmas. She is no longer in the ICU but had many bones broken and may never be the same. Sadly, sometimes it takes a tradedy like this to remind us to cherish everyday, to appreciate the people we have and to be joyful for now.
