Friday, April 13, 2012. In March, I got the flu. April 1st, I went to the ER at Stanford and ended up in the ICU, fighting to live. I have been listed for lungs and am at the top of the list for my size and blood type. Thursday, February 2, 2012.
You guys, my baby turned two last week. Excuse me while I wipe away a few tears and beg time to slow down just a little. Grayson is such a special little boy and he is so very loved. This is my fight song. Take back my life song.
Monday, January 10, 2011. I made a mistake in the quilt. The big, complicated quilt for Darin - yeah, I made a big oops. The sparkly purple was supposed to run down the diagonal in the middle, but instead, I sewed it so the red was going down the middle - except for in one place. BUT, I have sent him this photo already and h.
A wise, thinking person might have approached a Must-Do list like mine by tackling the biggest, hardest job first, to make sure that it got done within the time constraints. Me? I have to say, though, getting these things done felt pretty good. Uncommonly, good, actually. I was actually giggling to myself as I opened and closed my bathroom drawer.
