My aptitude tests in high school said I should become a health professional, a teacher, or a writer. Been there, done that on the first two and this is my attempt at the third. Fast forward to the Fall of 2012. One Sunday evening on a road trip back home from Austin, we were listening to sermon that our cousin Aaron Ivey had preached weeks before at his church, The Austin Stone. The topic of the series? Decision made things feel more real.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014. We dressed up her American Girl Doll and she went with us. We went with several of our good friends and had a wonderful time together. Hollyn finished her Kindergarten year! It flew by so quickly! Thursday, June 26, 2014. His purple goose egg is not noticeable and I love the pictures of the kids in the bluebonnets! Thankfully, we invited a small group of girls and every single one of them was able to come to the party on Sund.

Saturday, August 15, 2015. About 24 inches and 13 pounds. Loves being held and rocked. Starting to really coo and talk. Smiles a lot and giggles some too. Love his long pretty eyelashes. Likes looking at himself in the mirror. Plays longer amounts of time on his play mat. Hits at toys and grabs things. He is a little wiggle worm and loves to kick. Still loves his paci, only uses mam. Brings hands to mouth now and sucks on them. He is very vocal and lets you know when he needs something.

Friday, August 2, 2013. Baking the Day Away! However, I was wrong. This little ray of sunshine slept in until 10am and when she did finally emerge from her slumber, she snuggled in my lap long enough to read no less than 13 books together. It was perfect! After all the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Mrs. McNosh Hangs Up Her Wash reading that we could take for one morning, we decided that the best possible way to spend the morning would be to bake. So, bake we did.
