Monday, June 9, 2014. On Friendship, some thoughts. You guys I have learned so much about friendship in the past few years. And I feel the need to brain dump a little, as it has all been on my mind a lot lately for whatever reason. I like knowing who my people are. I like adding new people to my people. Even ones I disagree with. Even ones I have little in common with. And I like keeping the ones who have believed in me all along. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Yep Were in the hospital.

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The Small, Simple Things. Another year has slipped past and yet our lameness of not being able to get a Christmas card pulled together and sent off persists. There is not a single thing in the entire world we can blame this on other than ourselves, and while I am tempted to just not do anything to commemorate the passing of another year a family life, looking fondly at our 2013 family pictures this week persuaded me otherwise.

Monday, January 26, 2015. We had lots of fun, although many got sick, so that was sad. On Christmas Eve, we read the Christmas story, from the Bible. Avery was demonstrating how Mary might have reacted, while in labor. This is how he looked when opening presents. So sad, and a little funny.

Monday, March 12, 2012. We usually venture North on the island when we want to explore, but this day we headed south. Tucked away on some obscure road in between concrete buildings is a beautiful Chinese Garden. Behind this waterfall are all these little tunnels. Played for hours in here. Sunday, March 11, 2012. Monday, January 18, 2010. I guess this blog is about 5 months late but since we have just started blogging again just put this one on the tab. I asked Tara to marry me in September and obviously she said yes since it would be pretty awkward if we were still dating if she said no. we will keep everyone up to date on when but it will be this year for sure.
