The room-spanning panel is made of scrim, a cloth used in theaters that looks opaque in regular light and entirely different when lit from behind and tilted at a 40-degree angle. The piece is part of the West Coast Light and Space movement which was a movement that investigates human perception and sensation. I really liked the piece even though it caused such a strong sensation in me when I saw it. It can be viewed by anyone.

Thursday, October 8, 2009. I really like this piece because it seems a lit.
Tuesday, October 13, 2009. 5 pieces from the Walker. The line in this work is near perfect from what i could see. looking at it, it looked like a perfect cut in a canvas but it was actually painted. My reaction to this, at first i was like blah whatever it was kinda plain but when i was told about the interpretations around it with the man standing in the window then i was slightly disturbed.

I tried to at first to really find some redeeming qualities in the works hanging around me. Eight rectangles, each a different.
