Beneath an orange sky. I received news yesterday of a rather depressing nature. A good friend of mine, currently living in Manila and working for the Peace Corps, lost her dad in a car accident Tuesday. Im going to the funeral today, and its left me thinking about my own experience burying my dad 12 years ago. Posted by angie at 1003 AM. Thursday, June 23, 2016. Approximately 13 years ago, before the intrusion of Facebook and other social media into our lives, I had a blog. What can I say? Given that I was achieving a lifelong goal at the tender age of 25, I thought this meant the start of a career in writing and speaking.
Saturday, May 9, 2015. Getting away first stop Las Vegas. Our new favorite sub sandwich. We ended the day with prime rib dinner at Ellis Island. We have known Chuck and Sue for about 38 years! Today, we met our RV friends Steph and John for breakfast. We met them when we worked at Yellowstone NP. They are full timers at a very young age, but are so much fun. They were in Phoenix for a month and have been here in Vegas for 3 months. Plan to see them again, soon along the road. Sunday, March 29, 2015.
