My husband found out about the blog and everything therein. A couple weeks ago I was going to bed, and he asked if a password has changed on an email account that I used to sign up our phone company.

We reside in North Carolina with our two young boys. We have daily adventures and I share some of them here. The smell of sandlewood, clean sheets, going barefoot, gin and tonics, huge salads, hearing the boys laugh together, and late evening solo walks.

A blog of discovery and identifying birds. This couple flocked together always. They nested in a small pond just behind my home but their nest was destroyed by something. Saw two Brown Thrashers looking for food, and as you can see from one of the photos, one of them scored a nice meal. The Anhinga is a bit of a show off, or so I thought.
