Sunday, January 5, 2014. We have a baptism on Saturday! This guy is amazing! His name is Drake and he is only 15. I only came in to teaching him the last little bit, but he has been ready for a long time. The only hang up is his mom wanted to wait till the new year. We met with him on the 21st and he said he wanted to be baptized yesterday! It is awesome. He just soaks up all that we tell him, grinning the whole time! I invite everyone.
Friday, April 15, 2011. When I lived in Hawaii, I would wake up almost every morning to a little old man whistling tunes while taking a ride around campus. One day I was reading on the Town Hall lawn when all of a sudden I heard what sounded like Celtic music. Further investigation led me to the lot where a man stood playing the bagpipes. On Mondays and Wednesdays on my way to work I spot a kid riding his unicycle home from school. Sunday, April 3, 2011.
