May came and the kids are growing like crazy. Autumn had her very first gymnastics recital! It was wonderful to see how much she has learned and how proud she was of herself. Nothing could top the excitement she had to get her first trophy. She had been talking about it for days.

Dieser kleine Kuchen war heute mein Sonntagssüß. Winzigklein in einer 16 cm Springform gebacken, sehr lecker und ganz schnell weg. 100 g Kirschen aus dem Glas. Zucker und Butter schaumig schlagen, anderen Zutaten zufügen, unterrühren und in die Form füllen. Kirschen auf dem Teig verteilen und ungefähr 30 Minuten bei 175 Grad backen.
Sunday, April 27, 2014. I named my brain tumour Justin Bieber. Justin as a name seemed fitting for my tumour- annoying but nonetheless stuck in my head. And loud music- forget it altogether. It can throw we so off balance I have to walk out doing some sort of interpretive wobbly knee- I need someone to hold my hand to guide me outta here dance which is well whe.
Plain and simple Cottage Pie. The last couple of weeks have been all about the sunrises and sunsets. Sometimes dawn is a bright lemon yellow, sometimes a vivid pink. But rarely a day has passed without us standing on the patio remembering why we are so lucky to live here. The vegetable stall is still going strong with little tomatoes, peppers and cabbage still being picked. But the fields are mainly empty, beautifully ploughed for next years crops.
