Last January Ben and I got to travel to San Diego for a Valley conference. Poor Ben was stuck in classes almost all day most days, but we did have time for some sight seeing. Makes about 3 dozen small cookies. In medium bowl, cream the shortening and sugar. Stir in the pumpkin and vanilla. In separate bowl, stir together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture.

Friday, December 13, 2013. 12 C olive oil. 14 C Lemon Juice. 1 clove garlic, minced. 12 C chopped onion. 14 C snipped parsley. Enough to marinade 1.5-2 lbs of chicken or lamb.
