Three years ago we asked for your prayers as Pieter was diagnosed with epilepsy, and we embarked on a detour we did not plan. Compared to many, ours has not been a terrible journey. Just sudden, unplanned, exhausting and at times nerve-wrecking. Holding your convulsing child through a seizure is no fun.

That was not as comforting as it should have been. That said, it worked. Since Beauty stirs all of her colors together, I chopped up an egg carton to make palettes with separ.

The Mushrooms Continue to Multiply. I do not know the answer but the production of mushroom houses continues unabated.

Not suitable for any water. But I put a layer of gesso first. The two first paintings here. And drew with a charcoal. The eyes are painted with charcoal as well. Then colored in some more soft pastels. The outlines I drew with the charcoal. Then painted a layer with some transparent gesso.
