Taking a look at life through the eyes of a wife and mother on wheels. I got a text yesterday from one of the girls in my high school small group asking me to talk. Turns out she was asked to write an essay about the most important person in her life. Then she sent me a copy of the essay and I had literal tears.
I forgot to include Canada in the last post! April 5, 2017. Katherine has been studying the continent of Africa for about 6 weeks. She has been working to memorize all the countries and capitals. This week she tested her skills. She was able to draw the whole thing from memory and list all the capitals! Way to go Katherine! January 7, 2017. Okay, this is a test to see if I can still do this! Thursday, June 17, 2010. It has been a while since my last post. I find what free time I have is spent on facebook. I really need to cut it out of my life but it is so addictive plus I love playing the mindless games while watching TV. The kids finished up the school year. Ethan will be going into third grade next year and his class and teacher decided to loop this year so no surprises. Dam, spent many days at the pool, and a fun lake day with lots of friends. Jackson I enjoying preschool 4 days a week now. He is such a big boy. He is truly the size of most of the kindergarteners at school. He loves his teachers and is doing great! Holland is now in the fourth grade. Wow! She is doing awesome! He is happy and loves.

Friday, March 1, 2013. My daughter somehow convinced me to make her three birthday cakes for her recent fifth birthday. The first was for her school class. She wanted a Peppa Pig cake. So I was up most of the night constructing Peppa, then up early in the morning making buttercream frosting. Then she had a puzzle themed birthday party, so we made a puzzle cake.
