Until he was about 3 years old, I made him the short version. In the winter, he would wear a long sleeve button up shirt or pullover t-shirt under the romper, kneesocks on his legs and a Buster Brown hat. Johnny includes a pattern for a shirt or a blouse.
Thursday, May 25, 2017. This is the front of the quilt. The chevron pattern was created by alternating placement of rectangle shapes. Fabrics are Auburn University prints combined with white and orange solids. Some were purchased locally, most were ordered from Fabric. This is the back of the quilt. I added the center strip to make the backing fabric wide enough.

Thursday, August 2, 2012. A couple of fun things. I have always loved this Topsy Turvy Scarecrow pattern. From Happy Hallow Designs! Last summer I found it at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum Garage Sale. I pulled it out to put together last weekend when I was home with a cold.

You could not arrive soon enough! Yeah, 2017 was most definitely NOT a good year for me. All kinds of not so pleasant challenges found me in 2017, including some with my health, and some that actually seem to be the CAUSE of the challenges with my health! Yesterday was a busy day for me, because I had to take 4 midterms, as well as taking my hubby to the movies for his birthday. I did well on all of my midterms. The hubby enjoyed his movie, as did I.
