Christian fiction, books about PR and marketing, cookbooks, self-help books, historical fiction, many types of non-fiction, including biographies and more. each member of our family has their own library card, and we are all usually maxed out on checkouts. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. A Time to Mourn and a Time to Dance. Sometimes we need moments to mourn the brokenness of this fallen world. To grieve the fact that there is so much loss in our own lives and in the lives of those we love; loss of life, relationships, and hope for the future. Today was one of those days for me. I sat in my quiet living room and cried. Brokenness is inevitable in this world tainted by sin. Sometimes we need to take time in our lives to let that soak in.
Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Winter has hit Lynchburg! This morning, it was 10 degrees when I left for work, and I was extra bundled-up, with my scarf, gloves and winter coat. The wind was blowing and it was COLD. Dallas heated up my car before I left for work, but there were still ice crystals on my windshield when I arrived.
