Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Mom spent her childhood days outside as much as she could. She loved to be outside. Grandpa always said she should have been a boy. Mom says she played all kinds of games outside with Steve but when it was time to play house, he wanted nothing to do with it. Aside from her tomboyish side, mom admits she was very pampered. Mom has an adventurous spirit. She was talked into running for student body president in high school.

Wednesday, April 13, 2011. This is our living room, complete with our FABULOUS RED CHAIR. Our family bookshelf full of our fun treasures. Our kitchen table, which we love. So now we are eating together again as a family, which makes us happy. We have this great dry erase calendar that is ever so helpful with the busy life of kids and a single mom. This is a MUST! The magnetic chalkboard ultra fab! Anyways.
Each month the teachers at Butler Creek Elementary school choose one kid from their class that has gone above and beyond in their classroom and showcases them during a special assembly. Tanner was awarded the Brilliant Bobcat award for the month of February. Woot, Woot! Posted by Ferris Family. Both Tanner and Parker had performances for their schools Bobcat Assembly.

Friday, April 20, 2012. April started out a bit crazy with 8 days in Indianapolis for CNHP training. It was a long 8 days but I learned a ton and loved it. The food wasnt great and sitting for upwards of 10-11 hours a day wasnt great, but the classroom time went by quickly because I thought it was all so interesting.
