Saturday, 20 July 2013. Knitting in the sunshine. The heatwave continues. As does the stash busting. Using up small amounts of 4ply yarn to make a couple of Little Sisters Dresses. And some purple aran to make a Baby Sophisticate. And, I have cast on a blanket reverse pinwheel. Which I actually brought yarn for. To try to justify buying yarn, well it was on offer. Monday, August 4, 2014. Original rough drawing on overhead plastic. The Bean Quilt was made for a joint challenge with the Chicago Modern Quilt. Guild and the Naperville Modern Quilt. Guild for a show at the International Quilt Festival in Rosemont, IL this June. The first thing I thought of was the Cloud Gate sculpture in Millenium Park.
